We are seeking a highly experienced and dedicated executive housekeeper to take on a leadership role within the team, as well as an additional team member to support the existing housekeeping staff in a distinguished UHNW family residence. Requirements

  • A minimum of three to five years’ experience in a private household or luxury hospitality environment, ideally with demonstrated supervisory responsibilities for the position as executive housekeeper
  • Comprehensive knowledge of high-end housekeeping standards, paired with strong hands-on cleaning expertise
  • Proven leadership skills, with the ability to effectively guide and collaborate within a team environment for the position as executive housekeeper
  • Experienced in the care and maintenance of fine materials, including delicate fabrics, high-end finishes, and couture wardrobe items
  • Fluency in English is essential; proficiency in Spanish is considered an asset
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States is required
  • A valid driver’s license and access to personal transportation are preferred
  • A high level of discretion, trustworthiness, and professionalism is expected at all times

Tasks

Daily Cleaning & Household Upkeep

  • Carry out meticulous cleaning of all interior spaces—including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and shared living areas—to the highest standards of excellence
  • Complete daily deep-cleaning routines and rotational tasks as scheduled or directed
  • Ensure household areas remain well-organized, including managing closets, storage spaces, and keeping pantries fully stocked
  • Provide thoughtful evening service, such as turn-down preparation and resetting living spaces for the following day

Support for Household Operations

  • Monitor household supplies and cleaning products, ensuring stock levels are maintained and replenished in a timely manner
  • Keep all guest areas consistently clean, well-prepared, and welcoming at any time
  • Promptly communicate any maintenance needs or repair issues to the Estate Manager, ensuring swift resolution

Collaborative Teamwork

  • Work in close partnership with fellow housekeepers, the houseman, private chef, and Estate Manager to deliver smooth, attentive service throughout the household
  • Follow established daily checklists and estate procedures with consistency, discretion, and a team-oriented mindset

For the position of Executive Housekeeper, you will also:

  • Take a hands-on leadership role in guiding the daily operations of the housekeeping team, while actively contributing to cleaning tasks alongside your team
  • Ensure that every corner of the residence is maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation, reflecting the family’s expectations
  • Perform daily walkthroughs and inspections with a keen eye to quickly identify and address any areas needing attention
  • Flexibly adjust housekeeping schedules and team coverage to accommodate family travel, special events, or seasonal changes with thoughtful planning
