On behalf of our valued client, we are seeking a highly professional and discreet Director of Residences (all genders) to take charge of the day-to-day operations across several fully staffed, high-end private properties. The primary residence is located in Germany. The position requires occasional travel to additional residences. The successful candidate will act as the central point of coordination and ensure that service standards are upheld at all times.

Requirements

  • ESSENTIAL: Minimum 10 years of experience as a multi property House Manager or Director of Residences in comparable UHNW luxury environments with proven longevity
  • Valid driver’s license and EU passport OR the legal right to live and work in Germany
  • Willingness to travel occasionally to other residences to ensure consistent service quality
  • Ability to respond swiftly and professionally to changing requirements and circumstances
  • Discreet, polished, and cosmopolitan demeanor with a hands-on and structured work approach
  • Solid understanding of the handling and care of high-end materials such as marble, parquet, and fine furnishings
  • Fluent in English; other languages are an asett
  • Submission of a complete and up-to-date resume is required

Tasks

  • Oversee the coordination and management of various properties
  • Ensure smooth and professional collaboration between all departments and service staff
  • Lead and manage a team of more than 15 employees, including onboarding and ongoing training to maintain exceptional mint condition standards
  • Serve as the key point of contact and communication interface across all locations
  • Address staff concerns with empathy and professional judgement
  • Coordinate ongoing maintenance and repairs while managing and monitoring the household budget
  • Handle administrative tasks such as bookkeeping, expense control, and liaising with external contractors
